USAID at 60
The U.S. Agency for International Development featured 2 major campaigns surrounding the empowerment of women and girls in commemoration of Women’s History Month and in connection with their USAID at 60 anniversary campaign.
I developed social media copy and visual assets for these campaigns.
USAID at 60
I developed the topline messaging for March’s #USAIDat60 “Empowering Women and Girls” content.
Through research spanning 60 years of archived work in over 100 countries, I crafted copy that represented the the central mission and voice of USAID in relation to the support of women and girls.
This content reached an international audience of more than 3.5 million and was shared with an additional 300+ governmental accounts overseen by 200+ communications professionals
Women's History Month
I created an Instagram story highlighting photos from across USAID’s history as part of the #USAIDat60 campaign.
This story featured copy that continued to echo the topline messaging for the month I had developed above.
This content reached more than 300K through USAID’s Instagram account.
31 Women in 31 days
USAID implemented a Instagram campaign for March 2021 Women’s History Month entitled “31 Women in 31 Days.” These posts highlighted blog posts and stories from the recent past which detailed impact stories from women who had been supported by USAID.
I wrote content for 6 of these days, which are featured below.
